How could this happen? Namdaemun, a 610-year old South Korean landmark burned down on Sunday night. Its the south gate of the former city border of Seoul, and it was considered Korea's top national treasure. It survived the Japanese occupation and the Korean War, but all it took was some crazy disgruntled man lighting a fire for it to be destroyed.
