What I learned this week: How to change a flat tire

On Monday I started driving Hannah's car to work because she left for Atlanta on Saturday (I'm not going to see her again before I leave for Korea!! saaad). Soo on the freeway on the way to work, I heard a couple of loud pops...what was that? I think to myself. That wasn't something bad, was it? Nooo, nawwww. Just keep driving! I'm pretty close to my exit so I get off and start driving the 4-5 blocks to my work. Wait a minute. What's that noise? Hmm front left tire is going bumpy-bumpy... At this point, even I know that something is not so good with my tire. At this point, I also start praying that I can just make it the next couple of blocks to work so I can just park in our parking lot and not have to stop on the side of the road. So I bumped my way into the parking lot, and yeah, the front left tire was completely flat and smoking a little. WHA HAPPEN!!?!?! So of course I call home and it turns out my Dad had just left to go golfing, my go-to car problem solver! So my co-worker who has some tire changing experience helped me change my flat and dirty tire with the teeny tiny spare in the trunk. We did it with brute strength and determination, and we were both in skirts and heels! AND it only took us about 15-20 minutes.

It was an empowering experience, I tell you. So now I know how to change a tire. HOLLLAA

HOLY CRAP. I just watched the season finale of LOST. Frikin' crazy!!! Poor Charlie, Locke is crazy, Kate in the future is super pretty, and yay, Jin is still alive! What is going to happen next!?!! I'm gonna need to find a way to watch my shows in Korea...
