Conan is in San Francisco this week, and I tried getting tickets, but not that hard. It would be so fun to go to a show, but it would involve taking a day off work and I don't got the vacation time. Anyways, I caught the show last night, and Conan visited Lucasfilm in the Presidio. I love the taped segments Conan does around the cities he visits. I missed Monday's show when he visited Chinatown and other places around the city, but you can watch the segments online here in the videos section:
The San Francisco tour clips are hilarious, especially Part 2 - anyone who grew up watching Full House will understand.
I heard Conan taped a bit in the South Bay, I can't wait to see him make fun of the Silicon Valley nerds. I wonder where he filmed...
Anyways, I think its finally getting out there that the Yay Area is the place to be - Conan's here, the Warriors are one win away from knocking off the #1 seed in the playoffs, and the Sharks are on their way to the Stanley Cup. Speaking of the playoffs, who's going to the Sharks-Red Wings game today at the Shark Tank? Oh that's right, I AM. So frikin' excited.
I know I'm leaving the Yay for awhile, but I'll be back - some how, some time.
