CeCe Peniston - Finally

Yesterday when I was waiting for the bus in Gang Nam with my cousin, I suddenly realized that I recognized something coming from the cacophony (thank you GRE's) of sounds that this busy Seoul street is filled with during rush hour. That's right, Ce Ce Peniston's 1991 hit "Finally". At the same moment I recognized it, I started enthusiastically singing along to the chorus, much to my cousin's bewilderment. I have no idea where it was coming from, possibly one of the trucks on the side of the road selling something random.

Its been in my head ever since! I couldn't remember who sang the song so I had to look it up on the internets and then youtube it when I got home. Why do I know a lot of the words to this song? I was only 8 when it came out. I guess it stayed popular and in circulation for a while after that.

I've been enjoying the video all day...the color blocks remind me of a shirt my sister had in the 90's. It also had sheer, black long sleeves...hahaha
