Its a Mystery!

What the heck!?!?!

This afternoon at about 2:30, the receptionist calls me to come to the front desk and so I go and...there's this huge vase of flowers sitting there that are apparently for me. Its a bouquet of red roses, pink roses, gerber daisies in different shades of pink, pink carnations, pink and white alstroemerias, purple statices (I had to look those last two up), and all kinds of leafiness in a square glass vase. My birthday was about a month ago, the only big thing coming up in my life I can think of is my trip to Korea, and I'm not dating anyone...so I'm wondering who the heck they are from and why they sent them. I open the little envelope attached to the bouquet and take out the card...and all there is a smiley face. !?!!!!!?!??!?!??! Seriously, what the heck. I have no idea who they could be from. The envelope is definitely adressed to me, at my work, so I don't think its a mistake. This is going to bug me, butI'm not going to go out of my way to find out who sent them because - whatever. If they want me to know, I'm sure I'll find out eventually. But thank you, whoever you are! Now I have these fresh flowers sitting on my desk at work but its a Friday so I think I'll take them home so they don't die in the heat over the weekend.

Speaking of heat, its HOOTTTTT here in the Bay Area, definitely in the high 90's and low 100's. I know its summer, but its really getting a little old. Frikin' cool down already!! I need my body temperature to go down before it inevitably shoots up when I go to Korea next week. Next Thursday!!! I'm super excited :) I'm getting myself psyched for the inevitable heat and humidity, seeing all my relatives - some of which I haven't seen in 16 years, fending off my aunts' nagging to get the moles on my face removed, and feeling like a giant among all the petite Korean women. Also, lots of amazing Korean food and fun shopping places. I need to figure out what touristy stuff I want to do too. Yaaaaaaay.
