Is here and hopefully here to stay! In LA this past weekend, I pretty much wore skits/shorts the whole time and it was great :) Although it did get kinda chilly at night. So yes, I went to LA this past weekend with Sara K, Adria, Kelly, and Erin S. Hannah also drove down with us, but she met up with a couple of her friends down there. We had a lot of fun eating a LOT of food, doing a little shopping, and best of all, going to Disneyland/California Adventure Park.
Disneyland in a nutshell:
- It was super crowded
- Collectively on Saturday, the five of us had Jamba Juice/Starbucks in the morning, 4 orders of chicken strips and fries, 1 order of fish and chips, 2 containers of popcorn, 3 cotton candy sticks, 1 McDonalds fries, 1 chocolate covered banana, 1 candied apple, and 6 cups of Pineapple Dole Whip. Also, on the way home we stopped by Carl's Jr. for 3 chicken tacos, 1 bean and cheese burrito, and waffle fries.
- We stayed there for 12 HOURS! Hopefully, all the walking around worked off at least some of the fatty food we ate. My feet were KILLING me.
- I went to California Adventure for the first time, and I liked it - not as good as Disneyland, but I appreciated the California-ness of it. And the Tower of Terror is a really fun ride.
- I talked about Pineapple Dole Whip all the way down from San Jose and up until we actually got in line for it. Seriously, SO GOOD. And its only sold at one stand in the whole park! Yummy creamy light goodness. I got it twice while we were there. delicious!
We drove back up yesterday, and now Erin S. is around! Yay for roomies. Too bad I'm stuck at work :( Oh man, I'm tired...I need a nap.
Stuff I meant to blog about last week:
- I went to the Snow Patrol/Ok Go/Silversun Pickups concert two weeks ago in San Francisco. Good stuff.
- The Namesake movie came out on Friday... I can't wait to see this movie. Its one of my favorite books and the movie looks really good too.
Pictures when I get around to uploading them...
