Funniest thing?

Every morning on the way to work, I listen to my favorite radio station's morning show, Sarah and No Name at Alice 97.3. This morning they had Paul Provenza on the show, the director of the movie The Aristocrats (the documentary with a bunch of comedians telling the same raunchy joke different ways). He was saying how he thinks the funniest thing in the world is animals dressed as humans, and Sarah (one of the hosts) was disagreeing, and saying that fart jokes are the funniest. I tend to agree with Sarah, as I think that animals dressed as humans are kind of creepy and animals that talk (not cartoons) is one of my pet peeves. I also grew up in the Yu household, where much of my childhood (and adolescence, and young adulthood) was/has been spent talking and laughing about bodily functions. farts are funny.

But then Paul Provenza made an interesting point. He agreed that farts are funny, but only when there's someone else around. If you fart alone its not funny, whereas if you see, say, a lizard with a leather jacket on, that's pretty much funny whether you're alone or not. He compared it to the question, "If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?" Likewise, if a person farts in a room, and no one is there to hear it, is it funny?

Don't get me started. I don't even think I really comprehended what was going on in last night's episode. All I know is HE ISN'T DEAD. No one ever really dies on Alias.

nasty yogurt - I had the naaaaaastiest yogurt today - actually, I ate maybe half a spoonful and threw away the rest. It was some kind that Hannah bought, called "Light 'n Fit - with Fiber" that has 0% fat, and I thought I was going to gag. I can't even describe it, ughhhh i still shudder when i think about it.

And I stand corrected - even though Jo is small, but not as small as the baby pandas, she does get an extra point for being Chinese like the pandas. Wai-ling!!!
