A Fit of delight


Boy cub at the National Zoo - This picture sent me into a fit of laughter/delight last night when Hannah showed it to me. I literally looked at it, then proceeded to collapse onto my sister's bed, giggling, squealing, and rolling around, with her looking at me like I was crazy. I really couldn't control myself, I think I learned what it feels like to be on cute-overload, the picture was just so cute, I couldn't take it. Seriously, if you tell me that you looked at this picture and didn't automatically go "awww" at least in your head, there's something wrong with you. The only situation in which I could maybe accept that you didn't think this was cute is if a giant panta killed your parents or something. And really, only if you were there to witness it.

I finally bought an ipod - I decided to go with the 20 GB ipod photo. It's supposed to come by Thursday!!! Hmmm...too bad my laptop's CD Drive is broken and I can't really import any of my CD's...blast, I guess I better figure out what I should do to fix that :(

I've decided to revisit some of the books that I read in high school that I remember liking, but were somewhat tainted because of all the crap busywork that I had to do for them in class, like chapter summaries. I'm starting with To Kill a Mockingbird - which I want to follow up by watching the movie, and I also want to read The Great Gatsby, Farenheit 451, etc. Also some books that most people seemed to read in HS that I didn't, like Lord of the Flies and Macbeth. We'll see how far I get.
