Thaaaank goodness. This week feels like its gone by quickly, but today has been slooooow. It's been raining on and off pretty much all week so I haven't gone out much (or not at all), but I'm thinking I might start my holiday shopping this weekend. hmmmm what to get people, what to get...This year is going to be a little different in terms of getting my family gifts since my bro has gotten hitched. I'm gonna be on my own this year for Hannah's present, no splitting it with Phil...but actually I guess thats the only change. We'll all get in on presents for the parents (I'm thinking a 9-13 cup food processor for Mom, computer stuff for Dad), and Hannah and I will get Phil something and Jo something. I think I'm going to be the Sugar Momma this year, as I'm the only one of the kids who has a full time job. For once I'll actually have some funds to spend on my family, but you know my love is just as rich :) Here is one thing that is going on my wish list, but I might buy for myself because my siblings are poor and my parents prefer to give me their love more than presents (that don't consist of socks or underwear):

My Name is Kim Sam-Soon came out on DVD on Tuesday in Korean with English subtitles!!! This is exactly what I have been looking for - I've watched a couple of episodes with my parents in Korean and haven't fully understood the details of what is going on, and now I'll be able to!! Thank goodness its subtitles and not dubbed - that would've been bad, and this way I can learn Korean while watching! I hope the subtitles are good. Anyways, since its an international DVD the prices I have found range from the $70-100's. Pretty expensive for 6 discs, but it might just be worth it. I think I found the cheapest deal online - I think this might be my early Christmas present to myself!
So today at work I took a poll of the people at work to see who would/wouldn't sing Karaoke at the holiday party next week. Apparently some people were vehemenely opposed to the idea and my boss insisted that we get an actual count to see if everybody else felt the same way. Basically, everybody BUT the person who suggested the idea in the first place said that they would NOT sing. There were even some people like me who said they probably wouldn't go if there was Karaoke. So the Karaoke is officially not happening. I'm glad they came to their senses. Still not going though, I think its the antisocial in me coming out.
I passed my TB test!! YES!!
Some things that have made me happy in the last week:

Su Lin at the San Diego Zoo. That is totally a paw waving, and I like to think she's saying "wassup" in a really tiny cute voice.

Bizarro is one of my favorite comics. I dunno, this morning I just thought it was really funny. Look at the expression on Batman's face! hehehehehehe
