Backstreet's back, ALRIGHT!!

I am backkkk from the Motherland, yeeeeeahhh. I came back on Tuesday afternoon, and since then I've been fighting off sleepiness while going back to work, catching up with current events and all my regular websites, and being too tired/lazy to upload my pictures from Korea. Soooo no pictures or detailed update about Korea yet, but they are coming soon. A one sentence summary: It was super hot and humid, I saw a lot of relatives, ate A LOT of yummy food, shopped a lot, and had a lot of fun. I hope the 5 regular readers I have havent stopped visiting my page because I haven't updated in like two weeks. Come back!!

Soo back in the states, I'm pretty jet lagged - the first day we got back my sister and I had to force ourselves not to sleep at like 2 pm, and instead I did three loads of laundry, unpacked, cleaned my room, and went to Chiptole for dinner. I ended up being able to sleep through the night until I had to wake up for work in the morning. Which was painful, let me tell you. But at least it forced me to get up and start getting used to my normal schedule right away. The next night I woke up at 4:30 am and couldn't fall back asleep until after 6 am, and then I woke up late for work because I forgot to turn on my alarm. Last night I was falling asleep at 8 pm but forced myself to wake up and go to sleep at 11, and I slept through the night. I'm frikin' tired right now though - its about 3 am in Korea time. I think it'll take me a couple more days to get back to normal - the 16 hour difference is pretty brutal.

I'm sad. Everyone is leaving me. People are going back to school/leaving to start school, or going on one-year backpacking trips to Asia (okay, only one person is doing that). I need to meet some people and make some new friends. Too bad I'm lazy and antisocial and suspicious that most new people I meet are shady. I think the TV will probably be my best friend this year. I realize how sad that sounds, okay, I'll try to make some new friends. How does one do that when they're living in the same place they've lived almost all their life? hmmmmmmmm

This weekend I'm going to be busy with birthday dinners/goodbye last hurrahs, and trying to sleep normally.
