What's up with that?

Today I woke up at 6:20 because I went to a breakfast event that started at 7:30 am. I usually wake up at around 8:20, so waking up was not so nice. What makes it worse is that I could NOT fall asleep last night. I got into bed at around midnight after I forgetting that I had to get up early in the morning, and then slooowly the sleep refused to come. I think I finally fell asleep a little after 2 am. Which is a grand total of about 4 hours of sleep. I'm actually feeling pretty okay right now thought - probably the two cups of coffee this morning talking - but tonight/tomorrow will probably be another story. Thank tha Lawd its FrIday!

Right after work today I'm driving down to Santa Cruz for a church retreat at a house by the beach. I'm expecting some fun times with old friends, bbq and bonfire, worship and praise songs, beach and sun fun, and unfortunately early wake-up calls. Awesomely, my brother and sis in law are driving up from L.A. to join us in Santa Cruz for the weekend, so that makes me happy. It'll be fun to play with my pastors's kids at the beach too.

Okay, I'm working on a post about my Korea trip, but its taking some time so probably next week sometime.

Random Pop Culture Discovery of the day: Anyone who owns or has listened to the Garden State Soundtrack - you know the song called "Winding Road" by Bonnie Somerville? I think its the last song on the album. Holy smokes!!! I just figured out that she's the same Bonnie Somerville who played Mona, one of Ross's girlfriends, on Friends! Apparently she sings. And apparently she was dating Zach Braff at the time and he requested that one of her songs be recorded to be put on the soundtrack. Man, Zach Braff hooks you up when you're his girl - Mandy Moore got a guest spot on Scrubs when they were dating too. Anyways, really random, but I just thought it was interesting.
