So the Ford Taurus is officially being discontinued this year, after becoming the most sold car in America. As a long-time driver of a Taurus myself, I was shocked and somewhat saddened by this news. Even though I'm sick of my car and can't wait until I don't have to drive it anymore, its like the end of an era. I drive a 1992 white Taurus, the year the Taurus' popularity peaked and my parents bought into the craze. The thing is still running fairly well (to my chagrin), and its a powerful beast that has seats like a sofa. A red velvety sofa. And its so big it was a boat in another life. I say it runs fairly well because while it gets me from point A to point B, it doesn't like drives longer than 30 min, at which point the check engine sign usually comes on. Its been checked by a mechanic and there's supposedly nothing wrong with the car, but something about that little light just unnerves you, you know? I think I have a love-hate relationship with this car. I drove it for two years in high school, every time I came back from college, and now for a little over a year since I moved back home. Theres defnitely some sentimental value for your first car, but man, I just want a car with a decent turning radius, working wipers, a non-cracked windshield, working AC, and a GPS system would be nice too :) Also, for some reason this car has turned me off white cars for life. Never again.
Too much TV
Scrubs is coming back!! Four of my favorite shows on TV right now are soon all going to be on Thursday night. Starting Nov 30, NBC's Thursday lineup is going to be My Name is Earl, The Office, Scrubs, and 30 Rock. Okay, I love Earl, Office, and Scrubs, but I haven't seen 30 Rock. The fourth show is Grey's Anatomy, but the only problem is that its going to be on at the same time as Scrubs - which is no good. Fortunately, a lot of the networks are now making full episodes of their shows available on their websites for free, so for the TiVo-less like me, I can go online during my lunch breaks and watch episodes I miss or watch new shows that I haven't had the change to catch. ABC is especially rocking because they have multiple episodes of multiple shows available online. I'm getting hooked on Ugly Betty and Friday Night Lights online - both great shows, but totally different. One of the guys on Friday Night Lights graduated from NU in 2004, so he's only a year ahead of me...I found this out after I kept thinking to myself that he totally looked familiar, but there was nothing he'd been in that I'd seen before. I think he was probably in a production at NU that I saw, or maybe I just saw him around campus. Does the name Zach Gilford ring a bell for anyone?
Anyways. Anyone else find it weird that McSteamy is married to the Noxema girl?

aka. Eric Dane and Rebecccay Gayheart
Also, that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are still together?

And actually look like they're really truly in love? How cute is that picture?
I have a life, really.
Happy Friday!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
