Sad ipod
Yesterday at the gym, my ipod had a stroke. I had just finished listening to Snow Patrols' latest album and pressed play for the ipod to shuffle, and it just froze, with the backlight still on. I pressed all the buttons but it was unresponsive. I didn't start to panic until after I went home and pulled out the manual to figure out how to restart it, and the restart didn't work, and when I kept trying all the things on the support website, all I got was an ipod with a sad face on the screen. Definitely not a good sign. I went to the ipod store today to talk to the ipod doctors at the "Genius Bar" and after I watched them try all the things I had tried, the dude asked me if I had all my music on my computer at home and I said...."ummm yeahhh." Because I kind of do. So now my ipod has amnesia and there is absolutely nada in it. This is actually pretty sucky for me because the rehab is going to be intense for my ipdo to regain its memory back. Since my 20 gig ipod has more space than my craptastically old 9 gig computer, I have been uploading music onto my computer, uploading them onto my ipod, and then deleting it from my computer. So you see, I dont really have all my music on my computer. But what could I tell the ipod doctor genius man? It was either that or get a new ipod I guess. Although, it would be nice to have an excuse to buy a video ipod :)So I guess that's what I'll be doing this weekend, uploading all my music back onto my ipod. Also, planning on seeing the back from world travelling Sara K, hopefully a movie, and maybe a little shopping?
ps. a couple of little new things, format-wise on the blog! the new blogger options are coooool. more stuff to come!
