Free tickets? Yes please!

So yesterday at about 3 pm my friend asked me if I wanted to go the the Giants game that night because his uncle had bought tickets and they had an extra one. I had already kind of made some plans and I was kind of tired from a couple of nights of sleeping late, but I decided to go because the tickets were free and there was potential to see Bonds hit homerun #715. I don't especially like the guy, but it is baseball history and it would be cool to be able to say that I was there. Alas, all Bonds hit was a single, a pop fly, and two grounders that potentially would have been hits if the infield hadn't shifted to the right. Even worse, the Giants lost. Now my record for the season is 2-2.

Besides the game, I think I saw someone really random when I was getting food during the second inning. I was standing in line and for some reason I looked to my left, and I spot a guy walking towards my direction, but he's pretty far away at this point and he's walking towards the area behind the line. After just a quick glance at his face, I have this flash of recognition. "Holy crap, is that Emotion Eric?" Yes, Eric of EmotionEric.com. I followed him with my eyes as he walked past the line I was in to a hot dog stand where he stood waiting for a friend while eating his garlic fries. After I stared at him for awhile, I think I can confidently say that it was him. I don't know this guy, but he's just a normal guy who has a fun website where basically you can send him emotions to act out and thats what he does. Or did, I don't think its been updated in awhile. Anyways, his very malleable and expressive face is a prominent feature and even though I hadn't been to the website in awhile, I totally recognized him. I visited the site today and in his about section he says that he lives in California and works for Yahoo!, so I think that theres a pretty good possibility that it was actually him because he definitely lives in the Bay Area. hehe, so random.

More Giants: Some rumours I'm taking cautiously are the ones that say that the Red Sox are looking to trade J.T. Snow, and even more cautiously the ones that say he might go back to the Giants. Now that would just be amaaaazing, but there is the whole issue with his $2 million contract. Crossing my fingers. I just hope the Red Sox don't take any actions to trade him before Sunday, when I'm going to a Red Sox game - even if he doesn't play. Man, if J.T. came back to San Francisco, there is no question that I'd be at his first home game back. NO QUESTION.

Boston in three days!!
