The Pleasures of Home

I've officially been home for a week, though it feels like...longer. I can't believe I was in Korea a week ago, it just feels like another world. I'm sure the time for missing Korea will come in the future, but right now I'm focusing on appreciating home and all the comforts that come with it.

I flew into San Francisco Airport last Wednesday after traveling for about 24 hours, and my Dad met me at the airport and we went straight to...

INN-N-OUT

Props to Dad

Who let me share his fries and DIET COKE

#2, Animal style!!

Then it was on to good 'ole Sunnyvale
And HOME. Look! it's space!!

It's good to be home.

And the weather is FANTASTIC. Check out the blue sky!!! I literally frolicked around my front yard, back yard, and house. No more teeny studio!

My rooooom and incredibly comfortable bed.

We celebrated Hannah's birthday the night I got back, a couple of days late. Happy Birthday! That cake is actually from Paris Baguette, a Korean bakery chain that opened a store about 10 minutes from my house...

Like I said, it's been about a week since I got back:

And I've already been to Target 3 times. I heart TARGET!!!

I also heart the Giants!

Back to my home field, in my Lotte Giants jersey

NU Reunion!!!

Korean baseball games were fun, but they missed a huge component of the baseball game experience: the food! Round one, Louisiana hot link, covered in peppers and onions, ketchup, and mustard.

Round two: Gordon Biersch Garlic Fries!!! Sara got hers drenched in nacho cheeeeeese

On Saturday morning we went to Alcatraz because neither Sara nor Adria had ever been there before.

We got in trouuubllleee.

As always, San Francisco was cold. Someone should inform the city that it's JULY!

You KNOW what that is, right?

I've been waiting for this for 13 months. Steak fajita burrito with rice, tomato, corn, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. Perfection.

And finally, a day trip over the mountain to Santa Cruz, which always must consist of at least three crucial components:

1) Pleasure Pizza

2) The beach

3) Maryanne's ice cream. Mud Pie is the best!

It's been a good week!

Oh Yay Sarah! I'm glad you are having fun. And I'm glad you are eating all the necessary food items.
