Helloooo

I had a fantastic post-GRE weekend of relaxation and TV, the anti-studying. It was great. Enjoyed another Friday night spent eating out with my sister and cousin (we went to Popeye's - my first time! Pretty much what I expected it to be, chiiiicken), followed by a trip across the street to my favorite strip mall, Westgate. I made purchases at Old Navy and Target (Mean Girls for $9.99!), and we also visited Barnes and Noble. I think we've done this at least two other times together...we go crazy on Friday nights. Good times, good times. Saturday I bummed around the house, did a little bargain shopping, and then went to Adria's to get some take-out chinese food and watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with Kelly and Adria. We're getting prepped and psyched up for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire! This Friday!! yaaay! Props to Vanderbilt for giving a week off for Thanksgiving and Sarah L. flying home in time on Friday to watch the movie with us!

Tonight I'm going to an orientation for volunteering at the Lucille Packard Children'ts Hospital. It supposed to last 2 1/2 hours...I hope thats an overestimation, that's just too long - I think my attention span has decreased since leaving college. I want to do some kind of direct-contact volunteering, and hopefully I'll be able to do it here. All a part of my efforts to find a direction in life :) And we lub da kids.
