BACK!

I'm back! From a nice, long (but def not long enough) vacation/holidays. I'm back in my freezing cold office and back in my slacks and sweaters. I think I've tripled my sweater collection since starting work, and since Hannah told everyone to get me work clothes for Christmas, that definitely helped me out. Not complaining though, they're all cute. Okay, so starting to somewhat get the hang of things here...but still a lot to get used to. I'm already starting to notice the differences between working at a non-profit and working at a large private company and at a rich school. A lot less stuff lying around, like endless office supplies, and just a lot less people, free food, etc. But less is not necessarily a bad thing - though I will miss the free snacks. Also, the coffee is horrid - its suuuuuper strong and not so tasty. Sometimes the consistency of it is like syrup! I'm gonna have to start bringing my own.

Okay, so a sum up of the holidays for me: Family fun, high school friend fun, lots of sittin' around and doing nothing, foooood and drink, and RAIN. For Christmas I got sweaters, the Amelie Soundtrack, Alias Season 3 DVD, some gift cards, and a CD Drive/burner! Yay, now I'm able to import CD's onto my ipod - too bad its a little funky and slow - my computer doesn't even have a 2.0 USB port!!! so laaaame. I finally got to see the sun through my office window today - it wasn't cloudy or overcast or rainy for once, hurrah. I commented to my sister that it seemed like our area never seems to get the worst of it during bad weather/natural disasters like floods, heat fires, mudslides, etc. She aptly pointed out that this was probably because there really aren't any rivers, forests, or hills close enough to us, and therefore the floods, mudslides, and fires just wouldn't happen. ahhh good point.

And the most exciting news of the holidays...my cousin had a baby boy on December 31, 2005!! He's the cutest, funniest looking little bugger you'll ever see, and I'm sooo going down to L.A. MLK weekend to see him before he gets really big!! My mom went down to help with the birth, and Hannah, Phil and Jo are all there now...I'm so jealous!! Congratulations Hyun Hee and Brian!

Welcome to the Kim clan Eric Minhyuk!

He looks like his Dad, and he can't seem to keep his mouth closed! silly baby.

I love babies.
