mmmm garlic breath...

I got back from lunch about an hour ago and I still have some raging garlic breath. I had my "welcome" lunch with my three bosses at pasta pomodoro in Santana Row and i had this wheat penne with eggplant and mozarella and a salad, and it was good...but I guess it was pretty garlicy 'cause I can still taste it. Even two ice breaker-sneeze causing mints have done nothing to help. Oh, and another thing about the pasta - there was literally like, a large piece of mozarella cheese in the middle of the pasta and it made it a little difficult to eat - like, it was really hot and stringy, I'd pull on it and it would just keep going. Next time gotta remember to order something that won't put me in a situation where one of my bosses asks me a question while a piece of cheese is hanging out of my mouth and requires me to manually detach it from the plate to answer the question. so smoooooth and sophisticated. doesn't mean it wasn't good and I won't order it again though...'cause i looooove cheese. The interesting thing is that one of my bosses ordered the same thing...and she didn't seem to have any troubles at all, it seemed cheese-less. strange.

So last night I watched Dancing with the Stars, and it cracked me up. I felt bad for the ESPN sportsdude 'cause it was obvious that he was trying really hard and wanted to do well, he just didn't have any actual ability to dance. And I felt bad for Master P's dance partner - she basically just danced circles around him while he just stood there like an idiot. And how much do I love Jerry Rice - so frikin' funny and cute doing the Cha-cha. Drew Lachey was definitely the best though. Now i'm all curious about how they're all going to do and I might have just screwed myself and gotten sucked into watching it. we'll see!
