Countdown

So I realized this evening that I have exactly a week left in my little studio. I moved into my place on July 3rd last year but because I'm teaching for about another week after my year is up, I have to move out and stay at another apartment for that last week because my school's one-year lease on the apartment is up.

So! I'm moving out next Thursday to the spare room in my friend/co-worker's apartment. It's been an interesting year living in one room, though it's gone by faster and more painlessly than I imagined it would. I'll have to take some pictures and post them after I clean up a bit...

Free housing is one thing I'll miss once I move to LA in September...but one thing I'm looking forward to is roaming around my parent's positively mansion-esque house compared to Seoul's land of apartments. Actually, more than the inside space, it's the outside space I'm looking forward to. Front yards and back yards literally don't exist here. Gardens! BBQ's! porches!!

I think every day from now until I fly fly away, I'll post one thing I'll miss about Korea and one thing I'm looking forward to about home. The countdown has begun!
