For the past three months, I've been taking Korean classes at EwhaWomen's Un1vers1ty. I really should have started earlier, but I didn't know they had a part time program and overall I was a bum. But! For three months I've been going every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for two hours and practicing and hopefully improving my Korean. I'm definitely not as good as I hoped to be by the end of a full year in Korea, but I think I can say that I'm not as bad as I used to be. I want to keep learning when I move to LA...we'll see if I have the time.
A couple of weeks ago there was some kind of event at the school, celebrating the opening of a new student center. There were a bunch of tents with food and a stage and music and stuff.
And a big tub o' bibimbap!

They were giving it out for free in the middle of the plaza at the front gate, but I didn't have time to wait in the big line.

I think the amount of bibimbap in this shot is probably drastically smaller than what it was at the start...check out the giant scraper they were using to move it around!
